Pete Pawlak -S.E. - President
I’m approaching 40 years as an engineer and I can’t say I have never worked a day in my life but have been fortunate to do what I love. The opportunity to have worked with some remarkable co-workers, peers, consultants, and architects has been very rewarding. As our team grows, we will have the depth of experience to take on new structural challenges.
When I am not at my desk, we enjoy recreational hiking, gardening, and getting our hands dirty working on older model cars.
Ty Bartley - S.E. - Vice President
I joined Bartley Pawlak in 2012 as a project manager and became a partner in the firm in 2020. I have over 19 years of engineering & structural analysis experience on a variety of commercial, public works, and residential projects. I have worked on commercial projects both nationally and internationally. I grew up in WA and obtained my B.A. & B.S. from The Evergreen State College and an M.S in structural engineering from the University of Utah.
I like to maximize my work life balance and find the two to be greatly intertwined these days. When I am not at the office, I like to spend time with my wife and three kids. We are constantly exploring from the mountains to the sound and all the great places to eat in between.
Mark LaCasse - CFO
I am a founding partner of Bartley Pawlak Structural Engineers.
My background is in finance and accounting. I have owned a few other businesses, but this firm has been the most enjoyable of my career.
In my spare time I enjoy backpacking, mountain climbing, and skiing. I have been climbing and skiing in the Cascade’s since age ten.
